Role For Sanity is a Gen X collaborative storytelling podcast exploring slow-burn cosmic horror through a Call of Cthulhu–inspired tabletop campaign set in the fictional town of Ashwood, Ohio called Echoes under Ashwood.
Blending small-town mystery, psychological dread, and character-driven actual play, the series follows former misfits returning home to confront repressed memories and something far older waiting in the woods.
This is mature, atmospheric horror for listeners who prefer tension over jump scares, where the story unfolds through sound design, improvisation, and the quiet realization that the past is not finished with you.
